She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald LeGassick and Verla Belle LeGassick. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Nieman of Manchester; her daughters, Jamie Nieman (Josh Wells), Kelly Nieman, Kristin Nieman (Ryan Warren) and Megan Nieman (Ryan From); her grandchildren, Mia Wells, Riley Wells, Blaik Warren, Emma Nieman and Isla Nieman; her siblings, John LeGassick (Connie Frost) and Janelle Plotz (JR); and her sister-in-law Carla Nieman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Jeanette's name at UnityPoint Hospice - Taylor House (Des Moines, Iowa).
