She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Yenter and Aggie Yenter (Jiras); her husband Buck Kint; her children, Kenny Kint and Kathy Backes; her grandson Noah Backes; and her siblings, Ioan Lombardo (Guy), Hazel Parker (Virgil) and Richard Yenter.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Kint (Polly); her grandsons, B. J. Backes (Jackie), Chris Backes (Cari) and Tim Backes (Mina); her great grandchildren, Ellie Jensen (Lucas), Libbie Backes and Estella Backes; her great great grandchild Zula Backes; her son-in-law Ken Backes; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Yenter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (119 W Fayette St, Manchester, IA 52057). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (375 32nd St Dr SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403).
