He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Engelken and Viola Engelken (Loeffelholz); his brother Dean "Killer"; his sister-in-law Gloria Engelken; his pet Buddy; and also, Cliff and Jane Seibert.
He is survived by: his wife Julie (Seibert); his sons, Ben Engelken (Ally) and Sam Engelken (Kenzie); his grandchildren, Winston and Lorelei; his siblings, Ron Engelken, Wayne Engelken (Janet), Elaine Dunkel (Dan) and Nancy Recker; and his sister-in-law Ann Brown (Daniel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Leonard-Muller Funeral Home (1500 N Franklin St, Manchester, IA 52057). Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (119 W Fayette St, Manchester, IA 52057).
