He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McCusker and Alice McCusker (Callan); his wife Margaret Jean McCusker; his brother Ambrose McCusker (Ruth); and his in-laws, Robert "Bob" Swanson (Crystal), Kenneth Swanson, Betty Morgan, Ruth Swanson, Harry "Duke" Swanson (Velma) and Richard Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Steve McCusker (Jean) of Coggon, John McCusker (Tammy) of Manchester, Teresa Greve (Greg) of Masonville, Ken McCusker (Dee) of Maquoketa and Rose Pins (Leo) of Bankston; his siblings-in-law, Pat Swanson of Manchester, Lois Morris of Cedar Rapids and Clifford Swanson (George McCusker) of Manchester; and his cousins, George McCusker and Clifford Swanson of Manchester. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 14 step great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (119 W Fayette St, Manchester, IA 52057).
