With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Olsem (Manchester, Iowa), born in Colesburg, Iowa, who passed away on April 17, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Anna; and his siblings, Laurita Oldfather, Mildred Petsche, Arnold Olsem and Marvin Olsem.
He is survived by: his wives, Colesburg and Wilma of Manchester; his children, Jerry Olsem (Mac) of Greeley, Jim Olsem (Liz) of Lisbon and Linda Nixon (Ken) of Boise; and his sister Irene Hoeger of Holy Cross. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
