He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar M. Horton and Velma Horton (Nickell); his wife Jimmie Horton; his son-in-law John Crock; and his siblings-in-law, Rommy Hammond and Betty Woodard (Murray).
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Horton (Mike Sheffield) of Texas and Kelley Crock of Manchester; his granddaughter Katie Crock (Lukas Reinthaler) of Manchester; his close friend Janice Cole; and his sister-in-law Gay Hammond of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
