He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Meyer and Hikalena Meyer (Bruns); and his brothers, Marvin, Harold and Irvin Meyer.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Paul (Jerry) of Maynard, Sharon Hunt (Duane) of Earlville, Debra Meyer (Roger Hagen) of Waterloo and Darrell Meyer (Marilyn Schanbeek) of Manchester; his former spouse Julena Meyer; and his brothers, Merlin and Robert Meyer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
