Charles Lahr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Lahr of Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Lahr to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Irene Lahr (Braun); and his sisters, Valene Schnieders, Betty Lahr, Patricia Pierce, Theresa Lahr and Linda I. McDowell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lahr of Manchester; his daughter Kathleen Rider (Danny) of Clinton; his granddaughter Grace Belle Rider of Clinton; his pet Max; his siblings, Donald Lahr, Maryann Digmann (Donald), Lavern Lahr (Mary Weber) and Joan Heyer; and his brothers-in-law, Leroy Schnieders, Merle Pierce and R. W. McDowell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Because of COVID-19, masks are required at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the family, Delaware County American Legion or St. Mary Catholic School.
