He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie and Alma; and his nephew Blake Leu. He is survived by: his children, Michael Scott, Melissa Diane (Brady) of Emerson, IA and Marcus Daniel; his wife Myrna Leu of Malvern; his children, Mike Leu, Amber Teachout of Trimont, MN, Michelle Morris (Chris) of Glenwood, IA, Melanie Babcock (Scott) of Elkhorn, NE and Frida Guerreo of Malvern; his grandchildren, Jordan, Madeline, Allison, Lexi, Maci, Jack, Kade, Stella and Sawyer; his great grandchildren, Reagan, Axel and Berkely; and his siblings, Phyllis Beck (Bob) of Des Moines, IA, Byron Leu (Janet) of Ottumwa, IA and Kathy Wiemer (Dave) of Mound, MN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; many cousins and other relatives; and a host of friends.
