She was predeceased by: her siblings, Rosalie McCain (Jim) and Lavern Alberts. She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Allen and Tamara Elaine (Jason) of Vinita, OK; her husband Roger Johnson of Malvern; her son Jeff Johnson of Malvern; her grandson Gage Jahnke; her sister Carolyn Lukehart (Richard) of Griswold, IA; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Alberts of Denison, IA. She is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be sent to the Malvern United Methodist Church, Malvern Volunteer Fire Department or Malvern Volunteer Rescue.

“Lavina was a sub at F-M while I was an Englsh teacher. The year I had my twins, she took over for me and did an excellent job. I always knew that if Lavina were there for me, the classes would be orderly and would learn! Furthermore, she was a wonderful conversationalist in the lounge. She was a lovely lady who will be missed. Daisy Malcom”
