With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne C. Obrecht of Malvern, Iowa, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Obrecht and Myrtle Obrecht; his son Robert Dale; and his brother-in-law Richard Ferry. He is survived by: his sons, Darren and Adam; his wife Pamela Bass; his daughter-in-law Sherri; his grandsons, Ryan, Tyler and Carson of Omaha; his daughter-in-law Denise; his grandsons, Max and Seth of Urbandale; his sister Julienne Ferry of Harlan; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Bass Brewbaker and Bill Brewbaker of Indianola.
