He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cheney and Pearl Cheney (Hailer); his wife Vonda Marie Bell of Porter's Lake Skating Rink; his grandson Aaron Schaaf; and his nephew Truitt Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Schaaf (Julius) of Randolph, Cheryl Stephens (Chris) of Malvern and Calvin Cheney (Barb) of Malvern, Iowa; his great grandchild Shane Schaaf (Amber); his children, Sid, Sadie, Ava, Chloe, Sarah Ford (Phil), Cory, Brennen and Ethan Stephens (Jensen); his grandchildren, Connor and Kaysen; his sons, Garret Stephens (Lindsey) and Paul Pontow; his grandchild Cohen; his son Daniel Pontow; his grandchildren, Camryn, Teagan, Rudy, Tori Pontow and Brad Klindt; his children, Hayden, Landon, Arleigh and Wyatt Cheney (Mobashsira Tasnim); and his sister-in-law Delores Hall of Colorado. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
