With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy Stephens of Malvern, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on September 3, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Evelyn Smith (Creamer) and Elly Smith; her grandson Tanner Foss; her brother Roger Smith (Anne); her parents-in-law, Forrest and Carol Stephens; and her brothers-in-law, David and Larry Stephens.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Stephens of Malvern; her daughters, Leslie Whitehill (Kevin) of Malvern and Janella May (Mike) of Silver City, IA; her grandchildren, Chandler Foss of Oak Creek, WI, Drake Foss of Malvern, Ellie Foss of Malvern, Alyssa Wiser (Shawn) of Council Bluffs, IA, Hallee Cochran (Eric) of Plattsmouth, NE, Reagan Whitehill of Tabor, IA and Cynthia Whitehill of Omaha, NE; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Isaiah, Gabriella and Maverick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and their families; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to Tanner Foss Project or Malvern United Methodist Church.
