He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Doris Meyer (Fiddelke) and Walter Meyer; and his brother Lewis Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ray Truelson of Mallard, Iowa; his children, Andrea Olberding (Gene) of Mallard, Cheryl, Kim Peters (Paul) of Madrid and Douglas Meyer of West Bend, Iowa; his grandson Jason Olberding (Lynn); his great grandchildren, Nicholas and Benny of Brookfield; his granddaughter Alison Angstrom (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Brayleigh and Logan of Humboldt; his grandson Jacob Olberding (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Luke, Claire and Grace of Humboldt; his granddaughter Danielle LaChappelle (Curt); his great grandchildren, Louis and Charles of Watertown; his grandsons, Andrew Courtney of Victoria and Austin Peters (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Bechet and Rennah Peters of Van Meter; his grandchild Ashley Van Dyke (T. J.); his great grandchildren, Thea and Oliver of Madrid; his grandchild Shayla Peters of Madrid, Iowa; and his sister Delores Schall of Hampton, Iowa. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Rodney's family will be distributing monetary memorials to his favorite charities.
