He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hartsock and Irma Hartsock (Truog); his siblings, David, Arlene and Willard Fain; and his wife Jean Louise Pringle.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Hartsock (Ellie) of Des Moines, Demaras Newell (Brian) of Storm Lake, IA, Darry Hartsock (Debbie) of Papillion, NE and Lisa Hamilton of Tampa, FL; and his brothers, Lowell Hartsock (Joy) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Willis Fain (Leola) of Nevada, IA.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
