He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Goodchild and Dorothy Goodchild (Younggreen); his son Kent; his wife Beverly Jean Hynes; his daughter-in-law Carol Goodchild; and his parents-in-law, Francis and Alice Hynes.
He is survived by: his sons, Koy Goodchild (Lori), Klint Goodchild (Chris), Kal Goodchild, Klay Goodchild (Debbie) and Kip Goodchild (Jill); his siblings, Jan Cast, Joy Lettow, Judy Blume (Tom), Lonnie Goodchild, Jack Goodchild, Freddie Goodchild and Gay Belk; his siblings-in-law, Bob Cast, Kit Belk, Jim Lettow, Edith Goodchild and Lovice Goodchild; his niece Deb Weir; and his nephew Luther Belk. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
