She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Abbott and Aurilla Abbott; her husbands, Jerry Cahalan and John Cahalan; her sons, Michael and Fred Cahalan; her siblings, Donald, Norman, Anita and Lennice; her in-laws, Fred and Leocadia Cahalan; and her grandson Ben Schmitt.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Trezona (Tom), Barb Reynolds (Gary), Diane Kruckenberg (Scot), Jim Cahalan, Dan Cahalan (Jackie) and John Cahalan; her grandchildren, Tony, Marc, Rob, Jerry, Angie, Dan, Hunter, Andy, Amy, Jake, Erin, Kalyn, Katie, Kelsey and Courtney; and her siblings-in-law, Adrian Ferriera and Marly Abbott. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Epiphany Parish - St. Joseph (300 5th St SE, Mason City, IA 50401). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
