Theda May Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2023, at the age of 83, Theda May of Malcom, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Theda May to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Harold Slagle and Fern Ione Slagle (Thompson); her husband Robert William May; and her brother Bill Slagle. She is survived by: her children, Eugene May of Grinnell, Jim May (Arlene) of Malcom and Diane Foster (Leroy) of Malcom; her grandsons, Tanner Foster (Maddy Wanders) of Malcom and Tucker Foster of Ames, IA; her stepgrandchildren, Ben Rae (Monica), Alana Sellner (Tom) and Aaron Grace (Megan); and her siblings, Bob Slagle (Pat) of Malcom and Linda Walz (Roger) of Tama, IA.. She is also survived by six step great grandchildren.
Memorials may be designated to Poweshiek County Fairgrounds, Sheridan United Methodist Church, or to the St. Francis Manor Foundation and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
