She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Franklin and Minnie Florence King Matney; her husband Jack F. Chedester; and her son Allen Chedester. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Chedester (Cheryl) of Grinnell, Rae Ann Lary (Doug) of Des Moines and William Chedester (Kristi) of Brooklyn; and her brother Sherman Matney of Grand Junction, Colorado. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
