She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Lee Tish and Mary Opal Tish (Vought); her husband Verlan Tinkle (Shorty); and her siblings, Orpah Mabeus, Donald Tish, Mildred Bringmann, Agnes Riley and Thelma Slectha.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Tinkle of Malcom, Gloria Shawler (Sara Redenius) of Marshalltown, Mike Tinkle of Malcom and Lyle Tinkle (Anne Armstrong) of Shellsburg; her grandchildren, Stanley Joe Shawler (Ashley) of Grinnell and Sarah Perry of Marshalltown; her great grandchildren, Emma Shawler, Alexis Perry, Sydney Shawler, Letty Perry and Ivy Shawler; her stepgrandchildren, Alina Armstrong, Andrew Brummer, Mica Jo Paul (Ryan) and Lizzie Brummer; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jordan Perry, Kaleb Perry and Paul; and her sister Kathryn Sellers of North Liberty. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
