He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lee and Elsie Marie (McCaslen); and his grandson Brandon. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Kriegel; his child Stacy; his grandchild Kassie; his niece Kelly England (Larry); and also, Gabe (Jamie), Colton Niday, Courtney, Marissa Malcom (Taylor), Kylee, Corall, Keagan, Kadence, Maverick, Christopher Pinkerton, Matthew and Alissa Meldrem. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112).
