With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Stephen Berg (Madrid, Iowa), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Berg and Hazel Berg. He is survived by: his wife Linda Berg (Hallquist); his children, Thor Berg (Merrilyn), Carl Berg (Heidi) and Kara Goetz (Michael); his grandsons, Casey, Collin Berg, Gunnar and Guthrie Goetz; and his brothers, Paul Berg and James Berg (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hopkins Grove United Methodist Church, Madrid, Iowa, or to a Veteran's charity of the donor's choice.
