He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Bimbi and Theresa Bimbi (Janovick); his wife Betty Bimbi; his grandsons, Matthew Gonseth and Jason Tassi; and his brother Leo Bimbi.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Gonseth (Steve) of Urbandale, IA, Joanie Tassi (Doug) of Kansas City, KS, Theresa Carper (Randy) of Monkton, MD and Mary Lou Killebrew (Michael) of Windsor Heights, IA; his grandchildren, Sean Tassi (Elizabeth), Valerie (Hassan), Dan Carper (Megan), Natalie Gendle (Aaron), Jessica Davis (Clay) and Kyle Sanger (Brittany); his nephew John Bimbi; and his sister-in-law Joyce Bimbi. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
