He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Herrstrom and Lottie Rainbolt Herrstrom; and his sister Mary Schulz. He is survived by: his wife Greta Lee Gill; his children, Dana Kinney (John) of Burlington, Brian Herrstrom (Tamara) of Altoona and Russell Herrstrom (Lisa) of Madrid; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jillian, Christopher, Kyle, Travis and Nicholas; and his nephew Tom. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Garden Prairie UCC Church and Madrid Historical Society & Museum.
