He is survived by: his children, Mitzi Schoening (Dale) of Madrid and Marvin Davis, Jr. (Edie) of Marshalltown; his grandsons, Aaron Schoening, Caleb Schoening of Nevada and Joel Schoening of Manson; his stepgrandsons, Kevin Simpson (Gary Ehrecke) of Richland Hills, Steve Simpson (Diane) of State Center and Dan Simpson (Tracye) of San Diego, California; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lizzie and Jesse Simpson; his siblings, Alice Davis of Dunlap, Willie of Woodbine, Larry of Woodbine and Keith Davis of Woodbine; his siblings-in-law, Abe Malone, Anna Mae Davis, Pat Malone, Alice Malone and Betty Malone; and his pet Nugget. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
