Leora Sowder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 86, Leora Sowder of Madrid, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oliver and Garnet Mildred Daugherty (Gibbons); her husband Marvin A. Sowder; her daughters, Lori Starks and Kelley Kusel; her brothers, Merlin, Kenneth, William and Merrill Daugherty; and also Marilyn Swensen.
She is survived by: her children, Shelley Sowder and Bill Sowder (Julie); and her grandchildren, Joshua Sowder, Kayla Sowder, Nicholas Sowder, Andrew Kruse, Lucas Friedel and Jacob Starks. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews.
