With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald L. Fatka of Madrid, Iowa, born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Fatka and Elsie Fatka (Telfer); and his sister Janet Fatka. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Stuart; his children, Tami Bertini (Brian) of Glenwood, IA, Bryan Fatka (Laura) of Wixom, MI and Eric Fatka (Jacqui) of Fredericktown, OH; his grandchildren, Corey Bertini (Shelby), Aaron Bertini (Avery), Taryn Bertini, Isaiah Fatka, Josiah Fatka, Spencer Fatka and Avonell Fatka; and his siblings, Carol Boettcher (Cedric) and Ron Fatka (Peg).
