We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023, at the age of 99, Betty Lea Bell of Madrid, Iowa, born in Beverly, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Cloyd Thomas and Tillie Thomas (Jilka); and her husband Harold Beverly Bell. She is survived by: her children, Connie Uhrhammer of Madrid and Greg of Newton; her daughter-in-law Wyvonne Bell; her grandchildren, Lisa Tjernagel (Mark Tjernagel) of Story City, Jeffrey Uhrhammer of Madrid, Andrew Bell of Madrid and Priya Bell of Philadelphia, PA.; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Tjernagel of Story City and Madison Tjernagel of Story City.

Memorials may be directed to Slater Baptist Church.
