We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2024, at the age of 91, Betty J Mundt of Madrid, Iowa, born in Chelsea, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Betty shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Betty farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Enegar and Esther Enegar (Goldsworth); and her husband William F. Mundt. She is survived by: her children, Linda Hay, Vicki Waters (Paul), Sandra Johnson (Michael), William J. Mundt (Kathryn) and Debra Forristall (Michael); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Grage and Karlene Helbig (Lewis). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren and two step great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
