She is survived by: her mother Ann Lockner of Lohrville, IA; her husband Ed Maxwell of Madrid, IA; her children, Erica, Charlie and Leah; her brother Matthew of Ames, IA; her father-in-law Dick Maxwell of Iowa City, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Beth Kutchen (Mark) of Ames, IA and Tom Maxwell (Kate) of Iowa City, IA. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Andrea was currently serving as an officer with The Sleeping Angels Foundation and enjoyed many friendships through the organization.
