He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell "Bud" Dunwoody and Mildred Dunwoody (Appelgate); his son Mark; and his granddaughter Abigail. He is survived by: his wife Maida Sparks of Lynnville; his daughters, Beth Bohstedt (Ralph) of Grinnell and Ellen Mattia (Tony) of Eagan, MN; his grandchildren, Mark, Zach (Cori), Seth (Kaelyn), Trevor (Jamie) and Louie; his great grandchild Zoey; and his sisters, Connie Chapman (Sandy) of Maine and Doreen Ewart (Dan) of California.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Lynnville Friends Church or in the family's name to help with final expenses.
