With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orville Van Wyk of Lynnville, Iowa, who passed away on March 12, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry G. Wyk and Clara H. Van Wyk (Ver Steegt); his sister Mildred Bogaards; his siblings-in-law, Newton K. Coop and Marlene Van Wyk; his grandson Jace Carrico; and his stepson Steven Sadler.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Greene; his children, Todd Van Wyk (Angie) of Lynnville, Troy Van Wyk of Lynnville and Tara Carrico (Travis) of New Sharon; his stepsons, Douglas Sadler (Pam) of Sioux Falls and J. Gregory Sadler (Denise) of Grinnell; his stepdaughter-in-law Mary Sadler of Arkansas; his siblings, Gilbert Van Wyk of Lynnville, Gary Van Wyk (Deen) of Sully and Margaret Ann Coop of West Liberty, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Jenna Hibler and Kourtney Van Wyk.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Orville's name to the Community Heights Alliance Church Missionaries.
