He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rayford Ratcliff and Charlotte Mildred Ratcliff (Groves); his stepmother Trina Ratcliff (DePenning); his siblings, Rayford Ratcliff (Eleanora), Neva Klyn (Earl), Vera Beason (Gerald), Alice Sparks (Lloyd), Velma Sparks (Floyd) and Doris Fenner (Clair); his brother-in-law Stan Schrag; and his nephews, Larry Sparks and Tim Schrag.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonita; his wife Marcile Ratcliff of Lynnville; his daughters, Cindy Arkema (Ron Reynolds) of Killduff and Bonnie Hofer (Steven) of Lynnville; his grandchildren, Christa VanderWeerdt (Shaun), Anthony Arkema, Jerri Nikkel (Trevor), Joshua Hofer and Jamie Hofer (Randi Visser); and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Reagan VanderWeerdt, Bella, Lillian Nikkel and Owsley Hofer.
