We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Dennis Richard Smith (Lynnville, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Cindy Richards and Alissa Fenton; his grandparents, Leo, Norma Brubaker, Lester and Laura Smith; and his nephews, Jacob and Andrew Fenton.
He is survived by: his mother Marlene Smith (Brubaker) of Searsboro; his friend Church; his father Dick Smith; his brothers, Carey Smith of Moravia and Kevin Wright of Colfax; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Landon (Jonathan), Chris Smith (Kayla), Desiree Richards, Dustin Richards, Tyler Buck, Madison Fenton and Parker Fenton. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to the University of Iowa Institute for Vision Research and will be used for MELAS Syndrome Research.
