She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Helle and Theresa Helle (Neiland); her parents-in-law, William and Willameana Bockenstedt; her granddaughter Melissa Gansemer; her great grandchildren, Addison and Emma Destival; her siblings, Donald Helle (Ardella), Tony Helle, Eileen Egeloff (Frank) and Vernon Helle (Mildred); and her in-laws, Fred Bockenstedt, Anna Mae Koelker (LaVern), Ardell Klosterman (Harold), William Bockenstedt (Alice), Harold Bockenstedt, Vernon Bockenstedt and Walter Putz.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Bockenstedt (Joyce) of Luxemburg, Steve Bockenstedt of Luxemburg, Randy Bockenstedt (Sandy) of Sherrill, Judy Selchert (Steve) of Dubuque, Joyce Hess of Cedar Rapids and Sandy Wilgenbusch (Tim) of Dubuque; her in-laws, Doris Helle, Agnes Putz, Helen Nurre and Maggie Bockenstedt; and her husband Cal. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and their spouses, 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Parrish or Hospice of Dubuque.
