She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Mueller and Margaret Mueller (Harter); her husband Leo Bries; and her siblings, Dorothy Berns and Herman Mueller Jr..
She is survived by: her children, James Bries (Phyllis) of Cottage Grove, MN, Alan Bries (Wendy) of Central City, Donald Bries (Debra) of Guttenberg, Steven Bries (Judy) of Sherrill, Roger Bries (Mary Ann) of Marion, LuAnn Huk (John) of Cedar Rapids, Julia Draker (David) of Cedar Rapids, Kathleen Kremer (Donald) of Toddville and Elaine Tekippe (Pete) of Story City; and her siblings, Margaret Schlueter, Henry Mueller (Rosemary) and Harold Mueller (Lois). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren.
