She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Hellman and Ottilia Hellman (Loecke); her husband John A. Langel; her daughter Jane Conner; her grandson Gary Perkins; and her parents-in-law, Chuck Thole, Ralph Recker, Rosella White (Ed Heims), Francis Langel, Marie Berns (Peter), Agnes Heims (Lawrence), Joseph Langel (Marilyn), Gerald White and Manny Franzen.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Langel of Appleton, WI, Helen Perkins (Steve) of Rawlins, WY, Gene Langel (Lynn) of New Vienna, Diane Ludovissy (Pete) of New Vienna, Dale Langel (Carlene) of New Vienna, Jim Langel (Joann) of New Vienna and Joyce Prier (Al) of Elkader; her son-in-law Vince Conner (Kathy) of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Bev Caron, Chris, Kevin Langel, Kim Monroe, Lisa, Mike Conner, Veronica, Annie Knepper, Tony, John Langel, Brian Ludovissy, Amy Ludovissy, Andrew Ludovissy, Mark, Amanda, Jenny Langel, Kenny, Sarah Langel, Ashley McLain and Travis Prier; her siblings, Bernice Thole, Ambrose Hellman (Eileen), Charlie Hellman (Mary), Clete Hellman (Correne), Dolores Putz (Dave) and Eileen Prier (Ed); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Franzen and Alice Langel. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
