She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Langel and Leocadia Langel (Thillen); her husband Art; her son Mark Ungs; her daughter-in-law Jane Ungs; her siblings, Mel Langel, Elmer Langel (Mary), Sally Wegmann (Alvin), Lavern Langel and Virgie Dingbaum (Lester); and her sisters-in-law, Lucille Mescher (Lefty), Marie Saunders (Wilson), Teresa Schiltz (Jim), Irma Glessner (Ray) and Grace Coffey (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Joan Ungs of King City, CA, Dennis Ungs (Alice) of Cape Canaveral, FL, Carol Ellis (Dave) of Coal Valley, IL, Janet Ungs of Maple Grove, MN, Ronnie Ungs (Diane) of Dyersville, Donnie Ungs (Ruth) of Dyersville and Nancy Gadberry (Mike) of Dyersville; her daughter-in-law Jodi Ungs of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Faith Robinson, Joshua Ungs, Jacob Ungs, Jana Ungs, Jessica Steckling, Nic Ungs (Whitney), Matt Ungs (Ellyse), Eric Ungs (Kate), Justin Ungs, Melissa Funk (Trevor), Zach Ungs (Angie), Jayme Ungs (Shawne), Dylan and Cody Gadberry; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Langel of Luxemburg and Doris Langel of Dyersville.
