With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Bockenstedt of Luxemburg, Iowa, born in Greeley, Iowa, who passed away on November 6, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Bockenstedt and Willameana Bockenstedt (Willenborg); his great grandchildren, Addison and Emma Destival; and his siblings, Fred Bockenstedt, Anna Mae Koelker (LaVern), Ardell Klosterman (Harold), William Bockenstedt (Alice), Harold Bockenstedt and Vernon Bockenstedt.

He is survived by: his wife Ivanelle "Toots" Helle of Luxemburg; his grandson Euchre; his children, Wayne Bockenstedt (Joyce) of Luxemburg, Steve Bockenstedt of Luxemburg, Randy Bockenstedt (Sandy) of Sherrill, Judy Selchert (Steve) of Dubuque, Joyce Hess of Cedar Rapids and Sandy Wilgenbusch (Tim) of Dubuque; his sisters, Agnes Putz and Helen Nurre (Joe); and his parents-in-law, Maggie Bockenstedt, Ardella Helle, Tony Helle (Doris), Eileen Egeloff (Frank), Vernon Helle (Mildred) and Donald Helle. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and their spouses, 21 great-grandchildren.
