She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Nurre and Abeline Nurre (Klostermann); her siblings, Verna Mae Steffen (Julius), Charlie Nurre (Alice) and Alfred "Fritz" Nurre (Rosemarie); and her parents-in-law, Bernice Decker (Carl), Tharsilla Gerdemann (Joe), Lorraine Lentz (Frank), Reynold Steffen (Mildred), Leonard Steffen (Marie) and Wilfred Steffen (Florence).
She is survived by: her husband David Steffen; her children, Connie, Jeff Steffen (Sherri) of Luxemburg, Carla Milbert (Brad) of Dyersville, Marilyn Langel (Kevin) of Epworth, Chuck Steffen (Lisa) of Hiawatha, Rick Steffen (Diane) of Luxemburg, Jill Hoeger (Jeff) of Port Barrington, IL, Jenny Schute of Epworth and Jodie McDermott (Matt) of Epworth; and her siblings, Joe Nurre (Helen) of Manchester, Rosemary Nickol of Dyersville, Kenny Nurre (Dottie) of Rockford, IL and Gary Nurre (Rita) of Petersburg. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren.
Social distancing and masks are required during the funeral mass.
