He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Severson and Alice Severson (Hegland); his wife Dolores Johnson; his children, Dwight (Vicky) of Luther, Jaci of Madrid, Patrice (Tony) of Mesa, Arizona, Craig of Luther, Caree of Boone and Cheryl Sansgaard (Dan) of Ames; and his grandchildren, Troy, Todd, Matt, Brett, Lyndsey, Keaton, Logan, Zebulon, Hannah, Hailey, Samantha, Chad, Mark and Adam.
Memorials may be given to the family or St. John's Lutheran Church.
