Elizabeth Jean Dolter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Jean Dolter in Luther, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia McCurdy (Elliott) and Lawrence McCurdy; her husband Paul A. Dolter; her half-sister Mary Lou Roussel; her parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Frank Dolter; and her brother Frank Dolter (Alma).
She is survived by: her children, Jane Geary, Dr. Kathy Dolter, Patti Rohn (Tom), Peter Dolter (Suzette), Paul S. Dolter and Ellen Sievert (Terry); her grandchildren, Maureen Goldman (Josh), Virginia, Kevin Rohn (Kathy), Andrew Gordon, Julia Rohn, Scotland, Colleen Geary, Nick Dolter, Carter, Trent, Rylan Dolter, Jacob and Joshua Sievert; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Felicity Goldman and Layla Dolter; her siblings, Jerome McCurdy, Robert McCurdy, Linda Hobart (Phil) and Steve McCurdy (Connie); her sister-in-law Judy Dolter; her children, Bob Dolter, Dick Dolter (Delphine), Jim Dolter, Margaret Steffens (Lincoln), Tom Dolter (Velma), Joe Dolter (Rita), Dave Dolter and Mary Link (Jim); her aunt Judy Dolter; her nieces, Lynnette Howe, Suzanne Muir, Judy Vorwald and Jane Dolter; and also, Mary Anne Zugenbuehler and Fran Haupert. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
