She was predeceased by: her daughter Radha; her parents, Ramnaresh and Chandrowtie; her siblings, Shrimattie, Surojdai "Suroj", Maigbarran "Willie", Chandriepaul and Neilkant; and her husband Joseph Persaud.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law May; her grandchildren, Idris, Georgiana, Alexander and Irene; her children, Ragoonandan (Ashton) and Linette; her siblings, Janakdai "Janack" (late Balkarran), Chandradai "Chandra" (Bhoop "Bess"), Ahilyadai "Hil" (late Basil) and Hemchand (Viera); her grandchildren, Reuel, Daniel, Lakshmi and Krishna; and also, Sarswatee, Reuel, Daniel, Kampta, Lakshmi and Krishna. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
