It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Querrey of Lucas, Iowa, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Storie and Claire Storie; her husband Marlin Querrey; her brother Waldo Storie; her daughter-in-law Toni Querrey; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia O'Dell, Grace O'Dell, Franklin Heston, Carl Rowe, Fred O'Dell and Larry Reece.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Whitham (Ronnie) of Cassville, Randy Querrey (Marilyn) of Chariton, IA and David Querrey (Sandy) of Chariton, IA; her grandchildren, Scott Whitham (Jennifer) of Cassville, MO, Julie Martin (Rob Cahalan) of Osceola, IA, Jennifer Whitham Johnson (Brent) of Clive, IA, Monica Whitham of Stillwater, OK, Stephanie Ripperger of Melcher, IA, Eric Querrey of Des Moines, IA, Jeff Querrey (Kellie) of Chariton, IA, Chris Querrey (Hannah) of Chariton, IA and Shawna VanDyne (Jarred) of Chariton, IA; her stepgrandchildren, Laura Moothart (Chris) of New Sharon, IA, Eric Stanton (Morgan) of Johnston, IA and Jake Stanton (Mindy) of Des Moines, IA; her sisters-in-law, Joan Storie of Albia, IA, Jeanne Reece of Chariton, IA and Myrna Buehler (Chuck) of Cassville, MO; her cousins, Rod Funk (Cindy) of Ankeny, IA, Mary Francis Duncan and Gerald Storie of Aurora, CO; and also Alan Duncan of Lynn, NC. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
