It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Ann Moore in Lucas, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June Ann Moore to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Elizabeth Sanders; her children, Jerry W. Moore and Julie A. Moore; her father William Sanders; her close friends, Jake Roach and Jane Miller; her brother Zeke Sanders; and her great grandchild Maeley James Moore.
She is survived by: her husband James F. Moore Sr.; her sons, Joseph F. Moore, Jim Moore (Lori) and Joe Moore (Cindy); her grandchildren, Stephanie Jantz (Rod), Michael Moore, Christopher Schaeffer (Jackie), Brian Moore (Jenn Cretin), Mark Moore, Angie Shriver (Jake), Justin Fitzgerald (Amber), Jeff Moore (Jamie), Trisha Moore, Matt Moore (Ashley) and Erin Burmeister (Pete); her sister-in-law Marsha Sanders; and also, Jane Miller, Shelly, Jeff, Jennifer and June. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, because of June's love for her town of Russell, memorials may be made to the Russell Historical Society or the Russell Library.
