He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Wendy Watson (Bronco), Megan Edwards (Donald) and BrieAnna Hay (Logan); his grandchildren, David McKinney, Edwin Moore, Shadow Kirkendall, Ikalaau, Kalani, Kuewa Watson, Macie Edwards, Autumn Hay and Keegan Hay; his great grandchildren, Saphirerose McKinney and Elijah Moore; and his siblings, Francie Howerton, John Howerton (Karen), Sherrie Fanning and Justin Howerton (Pam).
Memorials may be given in his name to the Iowa Veterans Cemetery or a memorial to help Veterans with PTSD.
