She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Butterbrodt and Erna Butterbrodt (Onken); her son James LaMar; her great grandchild Thee; and her foster brother Caroll Yustler.
She is survived by: her husband David Bilsland; and her children, Kevin LaMar (Dawn) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Karla Crossen (Mike) of Lowden, IA, Dennis LaMar Jr. (Tammy) of West Liberty, IA, Mary Balke (Rick) of Lowden, IA, John LaMar (Susie) of Coggon, IA and Steven LaMar (Renata) of Wilton, IA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
