He is survived by: his spouse Sigrun Rau; his child Makayla; his stepchildren, Ben Traver (Stacy) of Lowden, Ala, Lindsey Given of Lowden, Tracy Johnson of Bettendorf and Becky Abbott of Davenport; his sisters, Sandra Koch (Allen), Sharon Johnson (Robert) and Teri Hormann (Mark); his mother-in-law Helga Rau of Germany; and his sisters-in-law, Connie West (Darrell) of California, Anette Glaum (Achim) of Germany and Walburga Guber (Karl-Heinz) of Germany. He is also survived by step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
