He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronal Brown and Jessie Brown (Leitch); and his stepparents, Glenn Leggett and Pat Brown. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his daughter Shannon Edwards of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Jena Edwards and Rylan Edwards of DeWitt; and his siblings, Paula Price of Portage and David Brown of Marion. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
