He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kruckenberg and Selma Kruckenberg (Licht); and his siblings, George, Roberta, Leanne (Leonard Sellnau), Bonnie and Norbert.

He is survived by: his siblings, Robert of Lowden and Lorna Bergdolt (Waldemar) of Perryville, MO. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; and 18 great-nieces and nephews.
